ถือว่าอีกหนึ่งเรื่องน่าเศร้าสำหรับวงการสกินแคร์เลยก็ว่าได้ สำหรับแบรนด์ The Ordinary ที่กำลังจะปิดตัวลง แบรนด์ในเครือของ Deciem บริษัทสกินแคร์จากประเทศแคนาดา ที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2013 เมื่อ Brandon Truaxe หนึ่งในผู้บริหารและผู้ก่อตั้งแบรนด์ The Ordinary ประกาศยุติกิจการชั่วคราว รวมไปถึงแบรนด์ในเครือ Deciem อย่าง NIOD และ Hylamide ด้วย โดยในคลิปบนอินสตาแกรม Deciem ระบุว่าก่อนหน้านี้ทางบริษัทได้มีข่าวเกี่ยวกับคดีอาชญากรรม ฉ้อโกง และการเขียนแคปชั่นที่พาดพิงถึงเซเลบคนดังหลายคนอย่าง Mark Zuckerberg, Brad Pitt, Donald Trump ฯลฯ รวมถึงพฤติกรรมแปลกๆ ของ Brandon Truaxe ซึ่งอาจเป็นสาเหตุของการปิดตัวในครั้งนี้
